Really great location by the river, very quiet, outstanding price & an adequate breakfast. Highly recommend if you're staring in Tavira. Oh & there's a friendly locals bar right beside it.

Clean and pleasant place, has lovely views of the harbor. The location is marvellous and lovely, 5 minutes' walk to Misericordia Church. There is the point that it's a few steps away from the heart of the city.

The staff were friendly and the people in the town fantastic. We enjoyed a stroll around the cobbled streets of the Old Town and the river, and then on to a great meal in an alleyway of restaurants with a real buzz.

It has a marvellous and fantastic location close enough to opposite the ferry boat to the islands, two minutes walk from the Roman Bridge, and the Ihla de Tavira ferry.
Views are just ok.

The location was good. And it had a refrigerator in the room and a balcony with a view.
The internet connection was weak.

I liked the fact that it is facing the river, so I could eat breakfast at the river bed. I also like the fact that a minute walk away from Residencial Mares there is a ferry that goes to the Tavira Island, which is a beautiful, beach/ seaside destination, it takes only 20 minutes on the ferry and cost only 1.80 Euro return trip. I also liked the fact that it is so closed to the old town, with the castle, old church, and a Tavira club, where I went to listen to beautiful Fado concert. I feel like there is lots happening in town, gigs, recitals, gatherings, there is always something on.
I couldn't find a hair dryer in my room.
